Obituary For Preston Leroy Abraham

Preston Leroy Abraham was born September 28, 1959 in Vero Beach, FL to the union of the late General Abraham and Geraldine Parker-Abraham.

Preston received his education in the school system of Indian River County, graduating with the class of 1978 at Vero Beach High School. He continued his education at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.

At a young age, Preston received the Lord Jesus into his heart and life and was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Gifford, FL where he served as a Trustee and Usher. He was a faithful member that attended services weekly. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends. He had a huge personality and sense of humor, infectious laugh and a giving heart that will be missed by all who knew him.

On July 18, 2019 Preston was quietly called home to eternal rest.

Left to cherish his memories are daughters, Dr. Tiffany Abraham of Vero Beach, FL, Kayla Campbell of Massilon, OH and Arcatia Young of Albany, GA; brother, Keith Parker (Patrice) of Vero Beach, FL; sisters, Sharon Daniels (Anthony) of Antioch, CA, Cassandra Perry (Jerome) of Jacksonville, FL, Kim Brown (Arlington) of Vero Beach, FL, and Tammy Nottage (Dwayne) of Douglasville, GA; grandchildren, Lillian-Grace Porter and Aiden Robinson; aunts, Marie Morris and Laretta Moore; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss him tremendously.

Public visitation for Mr. Preston Abraham will take place on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Gifford, FL from 5:00-7:00pm. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, July 27, 2019 also at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Gifford Cemetery in Gifford, FL.
