Obituary For Otis Ealy

Otis Ealy, affectionately known to his family and friends as "Scoop" eternal rest on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at MUSC Lancaster Health Center in Lancaster County, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Allen Ealy, Sr. and Amie Kelly Ealy.

Otis accepted Christ at an early age and joined Beaver Creek AME Zion Church.

Otis was educated in the Kershaw County School System. He was a 1982 graduate of North Central High School. He was employed with Carolina Earth Movers for over twenty years.

Otis was preceded in death by Debra Ann Simpson, whom he loved with all his heart and soul; two sisters, Maggie Bell Ealy and Geneva Gaither; four brothers, Allen, Jr., Jimmie, Bobby and Henry Ealy.

Cherishing his memories are one daughter, Latoya Marie Simpson of Columbia, SC; one son, Alex Deion Ealy of Lancaster, SC; one sister, Michelle Denise Ealy of Lancaster, SC; two brothers, Willie Ealy and Roger Ealy of Lancaster, SC; Larry Cunningham whom he loved as a brother; one uncle, Cannie Ealy of Heath Springs, SC; two aunts, Eva Ma Champion and Coral Anderson both of Washington DC

Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Stewart Funeral Home by the Reverend George Mingo with burial in Westside Cemetery in Lancaster, SC.

Viewing will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
