Funeral service for Latetia DeVaughn Gooden "Von," 49, will be on Monday, August 5, at 1 p.m. at the Springhill Baptist Church where Rev. Tramaine Solomon, pastor and Pastor Shirleen Harvey, officiating. Interment will follow in Lineville City Cemetery. Mrs. Gooden passed away on July 28, 2019 at Grandview Medical Center.

Mrs. Gooden's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service.

A wake will be this evening 5-7 p.m. at the Chapel. Mrs. Gooden graduated from Lineville High School in 1988. She also graduated for Ayers College.

She was employed at Honda for 19 years.

Survivors include her husband: Tracy Gooden; sons: Roderick (Shanteka) Gooden, Tevin Gooden; her mother: Edna Kidd; stepdaughter: Tania Edison; siblings: Regina Marable, Angela (Michael) Boyd, Kimberly (Clarence) Williams, Lynne (Derrick) Horsley, Sarah (Kelvin) Battle, Cynthia (Brain) Harris, Walt (Penny) Kidd, Edward (Kimika) Kidd; grandchildren: Monterrio Edison, D'Andre Edison, Cimyia Keith, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Kidd, Sr., sister, Sharon Hayes, grandparents, Carzell (June) Garrett, Peryar (Jessie) Kidd, in-laws, Willie H. (Louise) Gooden.
