Funeral services will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., Refuge Temple Church, 4456 Medgar Evers Blvd., Jackson, MS 39213 with burial in Autumn Woods Cemetery, 4000 W. Northside Drive, Jackson, MS 39209.

Mrs. Mary Louise Vaughn Jones Terry was born on February 24, 1936 to Maude Eva Vaughn Jones in Madison County, Mississippi. Mary accepted Christ at an early age and joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Pickens, MS. Upon moving to Jackson, MS in the early sixties she joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and Greater Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. Mary later joined Refuge Temple Church in the early nineties where she was a faithful member until her health failed. On Friday, August 2, 2019, Mary departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior. Mary leaves many loved ones to cherish her memories, her husband of 64 years, Billy Allen Terry, children, Patricia Ann Terry, Kenneth Allen Terry (Janice Terry), Jarva Terry, Nikita Terry, and Vonda Gorden (Robin). Mary leaves seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Bessie Mae Davis, and Dorothy Day (James); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to cherish her memories. Her mother, Maude Eva Vaughn Jones, her stepfather Randall Jones, sisters, Ollie B. Ellis, Elmira Garvis, Ruby Mae Jones-Primer, brothers, James Jones, John Jones; and four brothers in-law and a niece all preceded her in death.
