Memorial services for Mrs. Mary Alice Kerney, 76, of 1125 Sawyer Street, Orangeburg, will be held 11:00 am Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg. Reverend Gregory Rollins is officiating.

Mary Alice Kerney, daughter of the late John Henry Johnson and Martha Baker Johnson, was born on February 4, 194 3. She entered into eternal rest on August 8, 2019 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her three brothers: John ''Shorty” Johnson, Earsley Johnson and Albert Johnson.

Mary leaves to cherish her fond memories, her four children: Larry (Irene) Johnson of Towson, MD George (Penny) Johnson and Joseph (Andrea) Davis both of Washington, DC and Brenda (Anthony) Finnell of Seattle, WA; and one stepson, Jimmy (Regina) Davis of Orangeburg, SC; 12 grandchildren: Latisha Anthony, Matthew Johnson, Lauren Githua, Tiffani Credle, Kourtnei Finnell Rodrigue; Anthof!Y Finnell Jr., Donovan Johnson, Whitney Anderson, Dominique Johnson, Kyla Johnson, Destiney Johnson and Jennifer Sarah Gross; two brothers: James (Mary) Johnson of Columbia, SC and Ezekiel (Julia) Johnson of Orangeburg} SC; three sisters-in-law: Betty Johnson and Rosa Keitt both of Orangeburg, SC and Irma Johnson of Bronx, NY; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
