As all remain in extreme sorrow and astonishing disbelief, S. Jones F. and C. has been charged with the solemn responsibility to announce, that Mr. Rodney Silver, 39, of Roanoke Rapids, NC has transitioned from this life into life eternal. "Hot Rod" as he was affectionately called by his family and friends, made this permanent change of address this past Monday, August 05, 2019.

The family has reserved Saturday, August 10, 2019, for mourners to come and pay their respect during a visitation that is to be held 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.

A Farewell Service will be held 2:30 pm, Sunday, August 11, 2019 in the sanctuary of the Jerusalem Baptist Church, 421 Cutchins Rd., Whitakers, NC 27891.

Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Enfield, NC.
