Lucille was a member of Silver Hill Memorial United Methodist Church.
She retired from SC Employment Security Commission- Job Cops.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her sons, Juan D. Gaffney and Retired Master Sargent Jimmy (Wanda) Gaffney; her sisters, Geneva (Kenneth) G. Williams and Jacqueline Gaffney; her brothers, Johnny (Wilheminia) Gaffney and James (Serena) Gaffney; her grandsons, Juan D. Gaffney, Jr. and Kodi M. Gaffney; her granddaughters,Blondzine S. M. Gaffney, LaKiesha (Tavares) Barkers and Kiana N. Small; her five great grandchildren, JaQuates Bostic, Zoie Small, Tavares Barkers, Jr., Kaidyn Barkers and Skylar Barkers; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends.
A Celebration of the Life of Lucille "Molly" Gaffney Roberts will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 12:00 p. m. at Silver Hill Memorial United Methodist Church, 778 John B. White Sr. Blvd., Spartanburg, South Carolina. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, 299 S. Linda St., Cowpens, South Carolina.
