Obituary For Landers Clark, Sr.

Mr. Landers Edward Clark, Sr., 70, of Madison, Georgia transitioned to eternal rest Friday, June 28, 2019 at Morgan Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madison, Georgia.

Landers Edward Clark, Sr. was born February 15, 1949, in Morgan County. He was born to the late Johnnie Paul Russell and Beatrice Clark-Russell. He was united in holy matrimony on June 20, 1970, to the late Vetertee Clark. Landers was employed by Pine Valley and Nepco for many years. He loved fishing, hunting, and riding his bike.

In addition to his wife he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Leann Beatrice Clark.

He leaves to rejoice in his memory four children; sons, Ernest L. (Shulando) Clark, Stephen (Cynthia) Clark, and Landers E. (Chandra) Clark, Jr.; a devoted daughter, Stephanie L. Clark; fifteen grandchildren, Shanee’ Clark, Eddie Wright, Jr., Ar’mond Wright, Celeste Lackey, Mona Clark, Rashawanda Lucas, Marquitta Lock, Ausslynn Clark, A’Landria Clark, Asia Clark, Shaquona Clark, Sha’Mirria Laguins, Emorion Laguins, Reece Ross, and Corri Brown; one great-grandson, Jaylen Clark; five brothers, Bill Ferguson (Miami, Florida), Ronald Russell, Johnnie Paul Russell, Jr., Antoine Russell, and Calvin Russell, all of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Katrina Diane Russell and Gloria Russell, both of Atlanta, GA; one brother-in-law, Ernest Williams; a special friend of the family, Willie Harris; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 336 East Main Street, Rutledge, Georgia 30663, Rev. Moses Little, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
