Obituary For Shyheim SayKwan Suggs

The Celebration of Life service For Shyheim Saykwan Jornell Suggs will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 for 1:00 PM at Destiny World Church 7400 Factory Shoals Rd, Austell, GA 30168. His family will welcome guests Friday August 23, 2019 for the visitation for 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Greener Pastures Funeral Home 4405 Marietta street, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

Shyheim Saykwan Jornell Suggs, fondly known as “Shy” and “Kwan” was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 24, 1994 to Leslie Diane Peartree Suggs and Neilson Saykwan Suggs. On Monday, August 12, 2019, he was called home to be with his eternal father. At the age of three, his family moved from Brooklyn to Greenville, NC where he attended elementary and middle school. After living in Greenville for several years, the family relocated to Douglasville, GA. In Douglasville, Shy also attended middle school and graduated from Douglas County High School in 2013. While attending high school, Shy played football and was a member of of JROTC. After graduating high school, he joined the Georgia Army National Guard, specializing in Infantry. Shy/Kwan worked for Loeffler Chemical Corporation for several years and most recently was employed with AcquaGuard as a construction worker. Shy/Kwan, loved working out and being fit. He was a member of Speedy Ray's Athletic Club where he “worked out” and trained to become an amateur boxer. He won his first fight with a third round TKO in April 2019 for the "Brawl for a Cause,” Charity Event on behalf of Friends for the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue. Shy/Kwan enjoyed taking long rides on his motorcycle with his friends, known as 2Wheels1Luv. Shy/Kwan touched the lives around him in an unpretentious manner. He had a big heart and was always caring and giving to others in any way possible, and he also loved dogs. His favorite color was red. He was a collector of sneakers. He loved crab legs and anything chocolate. He leaves a lasting impression of being able to light up any room with his bright smile and practical jokes. As an organ donor of his heart, liver, and kidneys, his legacy of caring for people will live on. Shyheim Saykwan Jornell Suggs leaves to cherish his memories, his parents, Leslie Diane Suggs of Douglasville and Neilson Suggs of Decatur, GA; two sisters Nequan Bell (Shawn) of Union City, GA and Shay Suggs of Brooklyn, NY; two brothers, Kasan Suggs and Jaquez Suggs of Douglasville, maternal grandmother Carlene Peartree of Springfield, Massachusetts and paternal grandmother Janie Suggs of Brooklyn; paternal grandfather Edward Ellison of Brooklyn; one nephew, Aiden Tabron of Greenville SC; special friend, Courtney Mitchell of Douglasville; aunts, uncles, and a multitude of cousins and friends.

He was someone i looked forward to seeing at the gym! It be came a routinely thing for me to bring him some sweet that he can eat. He loved the red velvet cheesecake that i brought him and he was such a sweet person
