Bettye had such a beautiful, kind and humble spirit. Her smile brought joy and brightness into any room. Let those precious memories linger for years to come. Her call home has ushered in great sadness, nevertheless, she is free from pain and is at peace with the Father. May the loving arms of Jesus comfort each of you. Good Bye My Friend. So very sorry to hear of Bettye's passing. She and I worked together many years ago at the Parent-Child Center in Dalton. I remember her as a compassionate leader for the education staff and a champion for the children and parents. She always talked so lovingly of Sherica and Chace who were the center of her family. Her family will be in my thoughts. May your happy memories give you peace. Wendy Hanson, Dalton GA

One word that would describe Betty would be sweet She had a soft loving demeanor that exuded kindness tenderness and joy She was a member of the Inspirational Choir at Shiloh when I was the President She was faithful and did not like nor would she partake in any conflict She was a woman of peace A friend described life as a highway and we all have an exit we must get off We don't know the when where or how we just know it lies ahead Betty reached her exit a few days ago she got off but wasn't afraid because she knew it's never bad to take a trip as long as you know your destination She heard an angel say next stop Glory I can hear her humming if you miss me from singing down there and you can't find me nowhere come on up to Bright Glory I'll be singing up here Her voice has been stilled on this side of eternity but she's got a front middle seat in the Hallelujah Chorus and she's singing Yo Grace and mercy brought me through I'm living each moment because of YOU I want to thank YOU and praise YOU too Your grace and mercy brought me through Today is not good bye just see you further on up the road where we'll meet King Jesus Marvin L Henderson Kent OH

I worked with her and she is one of few people I have some memory of but just barely. What I do remember is her smile and kindness when I came to work there. To the family I am very sorry for this dear loss that you are all dealing with. This is a true loss I must admit but if I can leave you with any words it would be this: Go on sweet Bettye Go on take your rest We all loved you But God loved you best.
