Obituary For Harvey Govan, Jr.

Harvey Govan, Jr., 52, of Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

He was born in Orangeburg, SC, son of Harvey, Sr. and Annie (Jones) Govan and an employee of KFC. In addition to his parents, Harvey leaves to celebrate his life, his children, Laquandra A. Govan, Jabre V. Creamer, Haidiya, Hezekiah and Hasani Govan, all of Harrisburg and Candice Mintz of Orangeburg, SC; his sisters, Iris and Shianice Govan; his brother, Hubert Govan, all of Harrisburg; his children that he reared as his own, Brandon, London and Jemini Creamer; his three grandchildren, LeLani A. Govan, Lilyanna A. Polito and Cachet Creamer, as well as a host of other family members and friends. Harvey's life will be celebrated on Monday, August 26 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with viewing at 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon.

Further Services and burial will be held at St. John's Baptist Church Cemetery in Cameron, SC.
