Barbara Gardner Braxton, age 86, of Richmond departed this life on August 24, 2019.

She is survived by one daughter, Gale Atkins (Harvey); two sons, Leroy Jr. and Leonard Braxton; one sister, Ann Cunningham; two brothers, Stu Gardner (Gloria) and Earl Gardner; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held 1 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Wilson & Associates' - East Chapel, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., Richmond, VA with the family receiving friends 6 - 8 p.m.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Roselawn Memory Gardens, 13389 Mountain Rd., Glen Allen, VA.
