Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Wines Frederick, 98, of 1626 Goff Avenue, Orangeburg, will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 6, 2019 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 185 Boulevard St., Orangeburg, with interment to follow in Belleville Memorial Gardens. Reverend Mack McClam is officiating.

Mrs. Frederick will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Lillian W. Frederick, the daughter of the late Thomas Wines and Lillie Echols Wines, was born October 23, 1920. She entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2019.

Lillian attended the public schools of Darlington County and was a 1943 graduate of Claflin College, now Claflin University. She worked as an educator in the state of South Carolina until her retirement.

Lillian was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved her family and was respected by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Frederick, Sr.; one daughter, Rose A. Frederick; and two sons; Donald T. Frederick and Ronald E. Frederick.

Lillian leaves to cherish her loving memory, three children: Stanley E. Frederick of the home, James (Vernetta) Frederick, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC, and Doris P. Frederick of Greenbelt, MD; daughter-in-law, Henrietta S. Frederick of Orangeburg, SC; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday, September 5, 2019.
