Obituary For Joy Suzanne Faily Benson

DR. JOY BENSON - Age 87, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019.

Survivors are her loving husband, Raymond W. Jones; three children, Mark R. Benson, Lang F. Benson and Marzieh Benson Yousefian; three grandchildren, Matthew S. Benson, Ian A. Benson and Lua Yousefian.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 2, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Willis Funeral Home, Inc. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M. Arrangements entrusted to Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.

What a standard you set dear Joy! You cared So much and put you whole self on the line for Racial Amity, for the downtrodden, the sick,the needy,and stood up for justice and equality for yourself and all others. You suffered but were patient in God. You were a leader in the Bahai community. You were frail; but mighty and I will never forget the life lessons you taught me. Now you are free from pain and united with your mother, father and Jane. Thank you for being a presence in my life!

Dr. Benson, I was saddened by your loss. But I also remembered what you taught us for our reason for being at work was for the working poor.
