Obituary For Juanita Howard

A Celebration of Life for Ms. Juanita Jones Howard will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Life in Christ Community Church, 9706 N. 26th St. Tampa, FL 33604, Pastor Arthur Randall with Pastor Fred Gilbert eulogist. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Ms. Juanita Jones Howard was born on November 1, 1934, to the union of Willie and Juanita Jones. She moved to Bradenton, Florida with her mom and siblings and attended the local schools of Manatee County. She later relocated to Tampa, Florida where she was employed by St. Joseph’s Hospital until she retired. Juanita was a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Thonotosassa, Florida until she became ill and was no longer able to attend.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Juanita Jones, husband Percy Howard, Daughter Flora Floyd, sister Venna Bell Jones and two brothers: Willie Jones Jr and Lorenzo Jones. Juanita leaves to cherish her fondest memories: A loving sister Annie Jones Knight (Joshua), four brothers Nathan, Andrew, Samuel and Leonard Jones. A devoted God-daughter Yvonne Smith (Prince), caring nephews Kevin and Tyrone Jones. Special cousins Ms. Barbara Grant and Carolyn Gilbert, very faithful friend Ms. Lena Jerry and a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Integrity Chapel, 3822 E. 7th Ave. Tampa.
