Bobby Ray Barnes was born February 12, 1944 in Summerland , AL. He entered enteral rest on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the age of 75. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 35 years of service. Bobby was a loving, caring, and devoted family man. Bobby is proceeded in death by his father Dewey Barnes, mother Eva Shelby, sister Pauline Barnes, brother Ben Barnes and son Marvin Holloman. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife Rose Barnes, 1 son Reginald Holloman of Moss Point, MS., 2 daughters Nekela Holloman of Moss Point, MS., Regina Holloman of Moss Point, MS., 1 sister Callie Ann of New York, NY., 1 brother Herman Moody of AL. 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. A devoted friend John Dates, very special nephews Robert Smith and Leveant Dean, a special devoted grand daughter Crystal Rawls. A host of nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly. Viewing will be held from 10 am - 11 am. Saturday, September 7, 2019. Funeral services will start promptly at 11 am at Meridian Street Baptist Church 5224 Meridian Street Moss Point, MS.Rev. Henry officiating. Interment will be at Machpelah Cemetery.
