We regret to announce the passing of Ms. Nicey G. King of Tifton, Ga. who transitioned on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Tifton Health and Rehab Center. Services are arranged for Saturday, September 14th at 11:00 a.m. at Southview Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, and the repast will be held at the Neighborhood Community Center in Tifton, Ga.

Ms. Nicey G. King was born September 8, 1936 in Hawkinsville, GA to the late Charlie Glenn and Mary Bozeman Glenn. She was a faithful, active member of the Stewardess Board of Allen Temple AME Church under the leadership of Pastor James McKenzie until her illness.

She is survived by her sisters, Verdell G. Walker of Tifton, GA, Pearl G. Graydon of Tifton, GA and Mary G. Johnson of Toledo, OH. Also, her two Goddaughters, Nicey Walker Alabi of Tifton, GA and Alicia Johnson of Toledo, OH; her niece, Amelia Butler (Michael Butler); great nieces and nephews, Stormy Williams, Tanisha Butler, Daunte’ Walker, Roman Walker, Leroy Williams, Michael Butler, David Scott; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and family.
