SMOTHERS - Theodore Smothers, a resident of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on September 4, 2019. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 2PM at the MIXON TOWN CHAPEL of Q. L. Douglas Funeral Home, 2403 Edison Ave. Mr. Smother's remains will rest for visitation at the chapel from 1PM until the hour of service.

Father, remove the spirit of heaviness, and give us garments of praise, as you know Ted would want us to celebrate his life with an overflow of laughter and joy in remembrance of him. Holy Spirit, we ask that You settle the hearts and minds of those who are feeling any guilt, resentment, bitterness, or anger. Help them not to look back but to press forward knowing that Ted is surely laughing and smiling with us.
