Obituary For Mr. Brian Ruiz "Tab" Millender

The book of life was opened for Brian Ruiz "Tab" Millender on March 27, 1972. He passed away September 7, 2019 in Mobile, Alabama. He was a 1990 graduate of Moss Point High School and served in the United States Army.

Known for his beautiful voice, his melodious rendition of “My Soul Has Been Anchored” blessed many families & churches throughout the tri-state area.

He is preceded by death by his mother, Mrs. Josephine Millender.

He leaves to cherish his memories 6 children: Lester, Brian, Brittany, Ja’de, LeJarrett, & Justin; 5 grandchildren: Gaielle, London, Ja-Marcus, Chandler, Braci; a loving father, Rev. Osbry (Janice) Millender, Sr., Atmore, AL; 1 sister, Jacqueline (Patrich) Calhoun, Lawrenceville, GA; 3 brothers: Osbry (Konise) Millender, Jr., San Antonio, TX; Donald (Eugenia) Millender, West Palm Beach, FL; Ryan Millender, West Palm Beach, FL; a devoted loving and caring ex-mother-in-law, Lillie Mae Wright of Moss Point, MS; a loving and devoted fiance’, Danielle Watford; and host of loving family and friends.

The viewing will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at First Missionary Baptist Church, 4600 Main Street, Moss Point, Mississippi. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow the services in Machpelah Cemetery, Machpelah Road, Pascagoula, Mississippi.

This is a big lost for the Scott St community. Tab was such a wonderful young man and was truly blessed with a gifted voice. He will be missed dearly. We love you Tab but God loved you more.
