Mr. Walter D. Woods, age 54, of 1220 Aragon Drive Apt. 201 in Knightdale, North Carolina departed this life on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Wake County, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Oak Level United Church of Christ in Manson, North Carolina. Reverend Herbert Bullock will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at church cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mary Robinson of Brooklyn, New York; his true “Help Mate”, Jacqueline Jones of Knightdale, North Carolina; one son , Walter Shabazz Woods of Raleigh, North Carolina; one daughter, Nydreama Johnson of Percthy Amboy, New Jersey; two brothers, DeWayne Elo Robinson and Shawn Robinson both of Brooklyn, New York; two sister, Vanessa Woods of Warrenton, North Carolina and Janiyah Robinson of Brooklyn, New York; three grandchildren, Maurice Xavier Johnson, of Percthy Amboy, New Jersey, LaQauarius Woods and Kimora Woods both of Raleigh, North Carolina; his very special grandmother, Annie Woods of Warrenton, North Carolina; five uncles, Wilbert Woods (Patricia) of Henderson, North Carolina, James Woods (Delois) of Louisburg, North Carolina, Jerry Woods (Tonya) and Torrie Woods both of Henderson, North Carolina; six aunts, Gladys Green of Oxford, North Carolina, Doris Woods of Brooklyn, New York, Ella Burchette and G. Vivian Alston both of Warrenton, North Carolina, Linda Bates of Oxford, North Carolina and Sheila Woods (Thurland) of Henderson, North Carolina; one great uncle, Reverend Herbert Bullock of Henderson, North Carolina; one great aunt, Lucy Meadows of Warrenton, North Carolina along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

The body will be on view at the funeral home on Friday, September 13, 2019 starting at 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM.
