Obituary For Elease Harriet Siplin

Elease Harriett Siplin was born on September 7, 1934 in Mullins, South Carolina to the late Elliott and Merlin Griffin Ford. She graduated from Palmetto High School in 1953. In 1955 she moved to Fort Pierce, Florida where she remained until summoned to her everlasting home. She was employed as a CNA with Abbie Jean Russell Care Center until her retirement in 1996. After retirement she enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren.

She enjoyed traveling, shopping, gardening and spending time with family. She was a faithful member of Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church for over 45 years.

Elease entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 7, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her late husband Richard, her parents Elliott and Merlin Ford, sisters Gwendolyn Budd and Edna Lewis, brothers Harold, Donald and Elliott Ford Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children- Durell Siplin, Thomas (Idella) Siplin of Fort Pierce and Vickie Siplin Jackson of Powder Springs, GA; Seven grandchildren- Brandon (Diana) Siplin and Derrick Siplin of Sacramento, CA., Darrell Siplin of Inglewood, CA., Damian Siplin of Tallahassee, FL. Kevin Jackson Jr. of Powder Springs, GA., Tatiana Siplin of Houston, TX and Auriana Siplin of Baton Rouge, LA. Two Great-grandchildren- Analia and Maya Castillo-Siplin of Sacramento, CA. One Sister- Carolyn Ford Mullins of South Carolina. Two Aunts- Mary Ford of Mullins of South Carolina and Naomi Ford of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Two sister in laws-Rebecca Ford of Mullins, South Carolina and Virginia Ford of Washington DC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public visitation for Elease Siplin will take place on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Greater Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Fort Pierce, FL.
