Obituary For Mr. Garry Pierce

Mr. Garry Pierce transitioned from this life on Sunday, September 8, 2019. His funeral service will be held 12:00PM on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Word of Life Tabernacle, 1801 Deep River Road, High Point, NC. Visitations will start 11:00AM at the church. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. Woodard Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

I got to work in the same area as Garry for a couple of months when I first started at NC A&T. He was always wonderful to be around and talk to. He made me feel welcomed and part of the team, even though I worked for another department. I'm saddened by this news and send my love and condolences.

We are all prisoners of death. There is no escape from it in this world, but Jehovah God has the power to release us from death he tells us so in the bible here at:(1Cor. 15:26)"And the last enemy death will be brought to nothing." Can you imagine the relief you will feel when you don't have to worry about dying! I hope you were encouraged by this prophecy and believe that we will see our loved ones again right before our very eyes.

"To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." For all who die in Christ, death is not the end. I pray that the peace of God and the comfort of the Holy Spirit will sustain his family and friends during this difficult time.
