He met no strangers and if there was something or a kind word of encouragement just look for Jack. He was an avid fisherman and everyday he ate fish. He never threw anything back. Jack retired from High Point Central High School in the custodian department.
Jack leaves cherished memories to his loving children, daughter, Renee Middlebrooks of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Clarence Middlebrooks, Willie Middlebrooks, Jr., Tommie (Bronna) Middlebrooks, Maurice (Veronica) Middlebrooks of High Point, NC, Rahman El of Charlotte, NC, Timothy Eberton of Miami, FL and Jospeh Little of Greensboro, NC; several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren as well as great-great-grandchildren; three aunts, Sarah Middlebrooks of High Point, NC, Inez Hillmon and Mable Hillmon both of Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives and numerous friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 3:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
