The story of this young mans life may be short but it seems to me that it was packed with the kind of love and devotion that only comes from knowing Jesus and living in the spirit. So while I like many did not have the benefit to know Camden during life on this earth, I have no doubt that God is using him in the spiritual realm to do the work of God for his family, those he loved and all of us who already know the Lord and those who will come to know the Lord through the inspiration of Camden Dillard's life and death. My deepest sympathy to the family and prayers that God will send you his grace and mercy so that you will accept this tragic loss with a peace that surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7 "and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds"

My heart goes out to one so young and determined. “The tumultuous seas of life are rarely fair or wholly comforting to the ones we know, but the world was fairer for the short while you were here, as it harbored such treasure, a pure gift, in the brief presence of your soul.” Rest In Peace. My condolences to all friends and family. May you find strength in the goodness of his memory. -Cassim A. Morris

I taught Cam in 7th grade at HMS. He was in my Gifted and Talented English Language Arts class. Cam was truly an intelligent, creative and gifted young man. I have only fond memories that I am grateful to have from knowing him. I ran in to him one day and he had his beautiful children with him. He was so proud and the love was evident. My deepest sympathies to his Mom, dad, wife, children and all the family at this difficult time. My prayer is that God strengthen and uphold you today and until you meet Cam again. Linda Reynolds

Camden was one of my former kindergarten students. I remember telling his mother that he was an extraordinary student who would do great things. When I heard of his passing, I was so sad as memories of him as a child came flooding in. Even as an adult, Camden was one of those people who left a lasting impression. That precious kindergartner with the most beautiful smile remains in my heart. My love and prayers are with Camden's family. Love, Tammy Robertson

When I met Cam it was back in 2010. He had met up with Christina to see her for a few min while we were in town. He wanted advice on how to get Zay closer to him. I told him what I thought he could do to help out. That day I sat in the car with my oldest daughter & Zay so Christina & Cam could talk to each other before we went back home. I sat there watching their facial expressions and the love I witnessed between the two was amazing. And he was so polite! She told him bye, got in the car and said "Omg Meg, he is the one, I know it". It made my heart melt. I knew she was right. And from that day on (that I seen) they were inseparable. Christina I don't have the words to even begin to tell you how sorry I am. Cam was a good man, husband, father and more. He took Zay in two seconds as his own and never thought twice about it. I love you so much and I am here anytime if you need anything.

I can remember sitting and talking to Cam at a football game and we talked about when he played football and they beat Reidsville then he started talking about how he potty trained his little girl. He will be missed by many. To his parents, we will continue praying. Odette & Tray Allen

This young man shared his gifts and love for life with everyone in his path. That smile, drive and determination was incredible and like no other. Cam will be missed by many! He was a natural born leader from a very young age and never strived to be. He loved his beautiful family and always had this contagious grin on his face when he spoke about his children. My life and many others were enriched with a desire to love others unconditionally! He always made me proud as his 5th grade teacher and eventually being my colleague. Lives were forever changed because of Cam Daddy. Until we see you again brother. Love and prayers for Cam’s amazing family.
