Sally, affectionately called “Sal” by many, loved her family. Sally especially loved her grandchildren and taking care of them. She would open her home to anyone who needed a place to live. Let’s not forget how much she loved dancing. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1975. After working many places, she eventually found a rewarding job as a CNA, taking care of others. She worked as a CNA for 22 years. “Sal” was a faithful member of Word Alive Ministries (WAM) of Monticello, Georgia where Pastor Marquette Brooks is lead servant. She is survived by her husband, Kelvin Haynes; five children, Shanese Burke, Shedrick Farley, Donte Farley, Terrence Farley, and Christopher Martin; five brothers, Willie Bowden, Elwood Farley, Dennis Farley, Kenneth Farley, and Kelvin Farley (Carla); two sisters, Mary (David) Manson and Wendy (David) Banks; ten grandchildren, Shedrick Farley, Jr., Shedrick Baker, Tyland Baker, Destinque Warren, Malia Shy, Liah McNeese, Sha’Kira Farley, Shaquille Farley, Dontavious Heard, and Kassadi Norwood; a special nephew, Travis Farley; five special friends, Marie Little, Rosie Dennis, Connie Madison, Brenda Ellison, and Nina Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 23, 2019 at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Eatonton, Georgia, Rev. Marquette Brooks, officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
