James Alexander Nichols passed away at Grace Health of Franklin, in Franklin, Tennessee at the age of 78. He was born in Greensboro, NC, to the parents of the Claude Franklin, Nichols and Sarah Margaret Stack Nichols Huber. .

Those left behind to cherish his many memories his, wife Janice Nichols; daughters, Debbie (Rocco) Panaia, Jennifer Swinney (Richard Picardi) and Laura (Jeremy) Berry ; brothers, Frank Nichols and Charles (Faye) Nichols; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Graveside service for Mr. Nichols will be on October 18, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, Tennessee.
