Obituary For Mr. Moses Major, III

Funeral services for Mr. Moses Major, III, 34, of 602 Representative Circle, Orangeburg, will be held 11:00 am Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Simmons Funeral Home Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, SC, with interment to follow in Belleville Memorial Gardens. Reverend Kelsey Mack is officiating.

Mr. Moses Major III, son of Laverne and Moses Major, Jr., was born on October 29, 1984, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was known by many as "Man." Moses entered eternal rest on September 21, 2019.

Moses attended Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School where he earned his high school diploma. He was employed by Trojans Labor.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, shopping, and traveling. He was very outspoken and was a brother to many.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence (Cora Lee) Williams, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Moses (Katherine) Major, Sr.; wife, Stephanie A. Robinson Major, and nephew, Javion Sarell Ja'Leek Major.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories his children, Laila Robinson, Ny'Ariel Major, Ja'Mya Major, Ja'Nyla Major, Nicholos Johnson, and Nicole Major; two sisters, Janice Williams and Princian (Christopher) Major Tucker both of Orangeburg; one brother, Maurice Gadson of Orangeburg; three nieces, Ja'Quanjanae Geddis, Serenity Johnson, and Ja khia Williams; four nephews, Jesses Geddis, Jr, Ja'kari Jackson, Direll Johnson, and Brandon Lucus, all of Orangeburg; three uncles, eleven aunts, a host of family and friends and one special close friend.

Mr. Major passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg.

Visitation will be held 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, September 27, 2019.
