But if the storms don't cease, and if the wind keeps on blowing in my life, my soul has been anchored in the Lord.
Arabella Robinson affectionally known as “Mobay” was born December 10, 1952 in Hahira, GA to the late Mr. Sam & Mrs. Isabella Robinson.
Arabella was educated in the Lowndes County School System. She was very meek and friendly to everyone she crossed paths with and always had a smile on her face. Arabella loved music and dancing. When thinking of a gentle soul, you would ultimately think of “Mobay”.
Arabella is preceded in death by her parents: Sam & Isabella Robinson; two brothers: Theodore “Son” Robinson and Charlie “Chicken” Robinson; one sister: Hattie M. Washington; two sisters-in-law: Louise Robinson and Lola Robinson; two brothers-in-law: David Washington and Larry Williams; two nephews: David Washington, Jr. and Sam Robinson, III; one niece: Valencia Robinson.
On Tuesday morning, September 24, 2019 at the Pruitt Health Crestwood, Arabella was granted eternal rest.
She leaves to cherish her memories one sister: Mrs. Willie Mae Williams of Valdosta, GA; two brothers: Mr. Sam Robinson, Jr. (Christine) and Mr. Jimmy L. Robinson both of Valdosta, GA; special families: The Rhym’s, the Slade’s and Lamar’s, the Wright’s, the Simmons, the Martin’s and the Straughter’s; Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowful friends that will truly miss her wonderful smile.
There are so many friends that we cannot name them all but anyone who came under the “Oak Tree’s” as we called it was indeed a friend.
A special thanks to the Staff at Behavioral Health Day Center, the Management and Staff of Stevens Funeral Home and the Staff of Pruitt Health Crestwood for the love and support shown to Arabella’s family.
The celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Miracle of Christ Ministries Church, 820 W. Magnolia St., Valdosta, GA 31601. Bishop Johnny B. Straughter, pastor, officiating.
