Obituary For Rev.Columbus Bridges, Sr

Rev. Columbus Bridges,Sr. passed away September 18, 2019. A native of Cuthbert, Georgia. Columbus is the fourth oldest of seven brothers and one sister. Rev. Bridges served as Pastor for True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, Clearwater, FL. for 36 years. Pastor Bridges memories will be cherished by his children, Randolph Sconyers, William Bridges, Gaye Simpkins, Columbus Bridges,Jr., Warren Bridges, Cora Bridges-Quince, Sherronda Bridges, Ashley Garrett, Bridget Filer. 27 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one brother Jerry Bridges and one sister Lucinda Graham. Wake services will be held Friday September 27th, 6:00 to 8:00 pm at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, 1151 Engman Street, Clearwater. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 28th 11:00 am at St. John Missionary Baptist church, 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue, Clearwater. Services entrusted to Smith-Young’s Funeral Home, Clearwater and Marion Graham Mortuary, Jacksonville.
