Obituary For Mr. James Williams

Mr. James Williams, 69, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at his residence. He was born to the late James Williams and Mabel Smith in Marlboro County, SC on January 26, 1950. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lanta Mae Pate Boyd and Margaret Regina Williams.

He is survived by his daughter, Quintana (Gregory) Smith; god-son, Maurice Sanders; grandchildren, Chelsea and Leante Tyson whom he loved dearly; his siblings, Grace Williams of Rockingham, NC, Carolyn Davis of Hamlet, NC, Ronnie Williams of Bennettsville, SC, Willie (Ernestine) Williams, Lee Williams, Sheldon (Vernell) Williams all of Hamlet, NC, Johnny Williams of Watertown, New York, Charles (Lisa) Williams of Fayetteville, NC, Mack (Brenda) Williams of Laurinburg, NC, Dwight (Sharon) Williams of Boston, MA, Allen Williams and Sharon Williams both of Hamlet, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 906 Meredith St. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
