Funeral Services for Ms. Jimmie L. Salley, 96, of 1494 Brentwood St., Orangeburg, SC, will be held 11:00AM Friday, October 04, 2019, at St. Paul Baptist Church, 2259 Rowesville Road, Orangeburg, SC with interment following Heavenly Rest Memorial Park. The officiating minister will be Reverend Charcey Priester.

The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to her service.

Ms. Jimmie Salley, the daughter of the late James Salley and Emily Bookert Salley, was born February 18, 1924 in Orangeburg, SC. She gained her wings on September 24, 2019.

Jimmie was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County. After graduating, she moved to New York, where she was employed with the New York Department of Social Services as a social worker.

At an early age, Jimmie joined St. Paul Baptist Church in Orangeburg, SC.

Jimmie leaves to cherish fond memories, one daughter, Dorothy Salley of Orangeburg, SC; one son, Clarence Salley of Norfolk, VA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
