Obituary For Louella Clarke

Sister Louella B. Clarke

A Celebration of Life will be held for Sister Louella B. Clarke on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 11: oo a.m. at Revelation Community Missionary Baptist Church, 7225 E. Chelsea St. Tampa 33610 with Rev. Dr. G.B. Robinson, Pastor, Officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.

Louella Branton Clarke, a native of Tallahassee, Florida was born on November 2, 1953 to the late Benjamin Sr and Rhoda Branton. She has lived in the Tampa Bay area for forty-seven years.

She attended the public schools of Leon County. She worked for St Joseph’s Hospital in the Dietary department for over 30 years.

She accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Revelation Community Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. G. B. Robinson until her health begin to fail.

She was united in holy matrimony to Neville Clarke. To this union one son was born and four stepchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Neville Clarke, four sisters, Susie B Johnson, Mary B Hill, Ollie B Thompson and Elizabeth Branton; three brothers, Benjamin Branton Jr, John Henry Branton and McArthur Branton; one stepbrother, Wiley Payne and one stepson, Harvil Clarke. She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Claudius Clarke of Tampa, FL; one stepdaughter, Marjorie Cherry of Tampa, FL; two stepsons, Denton Clarke (Tameka) of Montego Bay, Jamaica and Lincoln Clarke (Alicia) of Montego Bay, Jamaica; one sister, Scellar Barnett of Spring Hill, FL; one brother, Isaac Branton (Doris) of Tampa, FL; one brother-in-law, Booker T Johnson of Stone Mountain, GA; two sisters-in-law, Doris Branton and Pauline Branton of Tallahassee, FL; two aunts, Pinkie Ferrell and Marjorie Thomas of Tallahassee, FL; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; best friend, Mary Kemp of Tampa, FL; a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. Family pet dog “Janelle”. Special thanks to neighbors Rodney and Linda Thornton.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at Integrity Chapel, 3822 E. 7th Ave. Tampa. A Wake Service will be held from 7-8 p.m. Family and Friends are requested to assemble at the church on Saturday at 10:45 a.m.
