Mrs. Ruthie B. Peters

Ruthie Lene Peters was born February 2, 1959 in Philadelphia, MS to the late Leonard Brantley and Mary Jane Wilson. She passed away September 26, 2019 in Moss Point, MS.

She moved to Moss Point, MS at an early age, where she met and married the late Anderson Peters.

Ruthie was employed at Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilders for over twenty years. She met many, of her dearest friends, when she worked there.

She leaves to carry on her free spirit, her two children, daughter, Koffee Brantley; and son, Sinatra (Kendra) Peters, both of Moss Point, MS; sisters, Lula Hillsman of Plantation, FL, Maggie (Willie) Williams and Ollie (Jerome) Bailey, both of.Union, MS, and Essie Overstreet, of Philadelphia, MS; brothers, Wilson (Bobbie) Coleman, Billy (Alice) Coleman, Willie Coleman, and Charles Coleman, all of Philadelphia, MS, Levon Brantley of Moss Point, MS and Percy Stephens, of Forrest, MS; devoted niece, Aleesa (Jerome) Lewis, of Philadelphia, MS; devoted friends, Carolyn Barnes, of Moss Point, MS, Waltonie Batiste, of Gautier, MS and Addie Kirkland, of Philadelphia, MS. She also left a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 05, 2019, at Faith in the Word Ministries, 2309 Old Mobile Highway, Pascagoula, MS. The viewing will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Pastor Calvin Mitchell will officiate.

Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Machpelah Road, Pascagoula, MS.
