Homegoing Celebration Services will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019, 12:00 PM at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 815 Lynhurst Dr., SW, Atlanta, GA 30311. Pastor R.K. Turner, Officiant. Interment, Lincoln Cemetery. Mrs. Riley leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Ramez Riley and a host of relatives and friends. Viewing will be on Monday, September 16, 2019 from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 PM at Alfonso Dawson Mortuary.

I met Miss Bobbie in 1990. She recruited me to work at Grady Hospital. She and I were attending the same conference in Tifton, Georgia. She asked if I would like to work at Grady, and I said yes. Anyone who knows her knows that she knew how to get things done. She gave me an application on the spot that she had in her purse. I filled it out and she carried it back with her to Atlanta and had it process. My career at Grady lasted 15 years, because of her. Thank you for giving me an opportunity. Thanks to mentors like you, I didn't stop at the BSN or MSN levels of nursing. I went whole hog and earned my Doctorate. Rest well. Dr. Stanley Melton Harris
