Victor, you've been gone a few years now and still, I wonder if there was anything I could have done to allow you to be dear today. You were a true friend, I love you and I miss you.

The last time I saw you was at the play in Cordele. I gave you my number and asked you if you wanted to write it down and you said I teach Math I won't forget it. I met you and Adrian(I think) at GSW. We became friends and stayed in touch. I remember you coming to visit me, telling me that you were teaching. I was so proud. I am at a loss of word seeing your passing, but you will never be forgotten.

I had the opportunity to get to know Victor more this summer as a graduate student at CSU serving as his doctoral chair. He was very much on top of things and scheduled routine digital meetings with me to discuss his work towards his doctoral degree. I was blessed to have him be a part of my life. Basil Conway IV
