Obituary For Daraus Myles

The celebration of new life had already begun as history was about to be revealed.

Daraus Ahmad Myles was born on September 29, 1972, to Robert and Ruth Myles of Barnesville, GA. He entered into eternal rest September 21, 2019. At an early age, he joined Parker Chapel AME Church.

He was educated through the Lamar County School System. In 1991, he attended Georgia Southern University. He received his associate degree from Gordon College He also received a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from Georgia State University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Argosy University.

Ahmad was an intellectual-very intelligent and always curious about the universe. He had a generous heart and was always willing to help friends. Even during his challenging times, he was concerned about others. In October of 2018, he changed his life to live for Jesus.

Ahmad leaves to cherish his memories: loving parents, Robert and Ruth Myles of Barnesville, GA; a devoted son, Cameron Christopher Myles of Deltona, FL; two sisters, Inga Makeba Parker (Frederick ) of Hampton, GA; and Beverly Myles Barber of McDonough, GA; a nephew, Asa Myles Parker of Hampton, GA; three aunts, Caroline Leonard, of Macon, GA; Carolyn Dixon of Detroit, MI; and Trudie Miles of Macon, GA; two great aunts, Mrs. Essie High of Culloden, GA and Mrs. Lucille Phillips of Newark, NJ; three uncles, Cleveland Myles (Polly) of Barnesville, GA; Melvin Miles of Detroit, MI: and Anthony Miles (Tangi) of Macon, GA; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Service was held Thursday, September 26, 2019 11:00 A.M Apostle Danita H. Jones Officiated Sardis Missionary Baptist Church Interment Greenwood Cemetery
