Antonisha Monae’ Williams

A Celebration of Life will be held for Antonisha Monae’ Williams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Pentecostal Church of God in Christ, 4705 N. 26th Street, Tampa Fl,. Pastor Green, officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Antonisha Monae’ Williams was born on April 20, 1994 to the parents of Felisa M. Brown and Antonio M. Williams. She was raised since birth by her stepfather, Mr. Corey Thompson, Sr.

She was a native of Florida and resided here for 25 years. Antonisha was born prematurely weighing in at 1 lb. 12 oz. Doctors gave her one week to live but, by the grace of God, she survived to be 25 years old.

She graduated from La Voy Exceptional School. She enjoyed school and was always anxious to learn new things like cooking, adding and subtracting. Just being around other people always brought a smile to her face.

Antonisha was declared legally blind at a young age and was later diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She began having seizures approximately two years ago which led to a diagnosis of hyperthyroidism. In spite of her limitations, she was eager to live her life to the fullest.

Antonisha was preceded in death by her aunt Archelle R. Brown, grandfather Archie Brown, great-grandmothers Luvenia S. White and Ora L. Mack, great-grandfathers Otha L. Jones and Solomon Brown, Sr., Cousin Tanyale Marchman, Uncle Derrick Moore and stepparents Rohalia and Roberta Sampson.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories her mother Felisa Brown-Thompson, stepfather Corey Thompson, Sr.; three brothers, Charles Hinnant, Jr., Cornelius Thompson and Cortarius Thompson; grandmother Shirley A. White; three aunts, Tamika Brown, Rodiann Thompson and Tina Thompson; six uncles, Johnny Barnum, Christopher White, Ricky Hampton (Kim), Maxie Thompson (Sirena), Virgil Thompson (Dorlinda) and Fred Thompson; one niece, Lisette Thompson; six great aunts, Carolyn Lawrence (Roosevelt), Patricia White, Alma Joe Jones (Bobby), Arleather Perry (Claxton), Cora Mae Brown and Parrie Brown (John); four great uncles, Joseph Spencer, Otha Lee Jones, Jr., Solomon Brown, Jr. and Otis Lane and a host of cousins.

Public Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Integrity Funeral Chapel, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa. Family and Friends are asked to assemble at the church on Saturday at 10:45 a.m.
