LARRY DARNELL BRACEY, son of the late Willie L. and Gladys Mae Walker Bracey, was born November 21, 1963 in Mecklenburg County, VA and departed this life suddenly on September 28, 2019 at his residence, Bracey, VA. A sister, Barbara, also preceded him in death.

At an early age he was baptized at Roanoke Zion RZUA Church, Bracey, VA. He was a graduate of Park View Senior High School.

Larry leaves to mourn two sisters- Lisha (Paul) Williams, LaCrosse, VA and Pannie L. Bracey of the home; eight aunts- Ida Mae (Cecil Lee) Coleman, Geraldine Powell, Magnolia Dunson and Mary Bracey, all of LaCrosse, VA; Linabell Bell Tisdale, Rose (Linwood) Cox, Louise Macklin, and Jeanette (Freddie) Glover, all of Richmond, VA; nieces and nephews- Gladys Bracey, Clyde (Angela) Bracey, Clyde Bracey, Jr., Antwan Bracey, and Royal Bracey; close and devoted friends- Comma Lee and Joe Macklin, Brenda Bruce, and Martha Mae Williamson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
