Obituary For Adam Kovax Collier

Mr. Adam Kovax Collier, more affectionately known as “Hoon Dog,” by his friends, was born in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia to the late Mr. Kenny Character and the late Ms. Cynthia Collier on August 16, 1975. He attended public school in Thomaston and high school at R.E. Lee Institute. At an early age, he joined the Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church. Later in his adult life, he joined New Life Church. He formerly was employed by Keadle Lumber Company and later Quad Graphics. Adam was the father of two children. He loved being with his family and friends. He never met a stranger he couldn’t talk to. He loved the children in the neighborhood and was well known for his kindness and willingness to help anyone. He had a big heart. During his leisure time, he enjoyed watching sports, especially football and baseball, listening to music, and spending time with his family. On Saturday, September 28, 2019, God whispered to him, your work on this side is done. He opened up his kingdom and offered him a room. He accepted and went to his eternal resting place. He will greatly be missed. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Ms. Nyshia Passmore and one son, Amare Collier both of Thomaston, GA; three brothers, Mr. Alex Collier, Mr. Kenneth C. Character and Mr. Dylan Carriker all of Thomaston, GA; aunts and uncles include, Mrs. Shirley Traylor, Ms. Judy Collier, Mr. George Carriker, and Mr. Harry (Jonnice) Rousseau all of Thomaston, GA, Ms. Risha Collier, Mr. Lamar Character and Mr. Darien Character all of Atlanta, GA, and Mr. Wallace Character of Junction City, GA; one niece, Ms. Kennedi Collier; five devoted friends, Mr. Marcellous Ivey, Mr. Jemaine Thornton, Mr. Pedro King, Mr. Kasey King and Mr. Elinta Alexander; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Funeral Service were held Saturday, October 5, 2019 1:00 P.M. George E. Trice Jr. Memorial Chapel Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery
