Waddell Tate III, 44, died Friday, October 4, 2019 in Camden, SC. He was born August 17, 1975 in Lancaster, SC. He was the son of Evangelist Amanda Johnson Tate and the late Waddell Tate II.

Waddell accepted Christ at a young age at Second Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Waddell was educated in the Lancaster County School System. He was employed at Kenco in Lugoff, SC. He worked faithfully until his health declined.

Cherishing his fond memories are one daughter, Keziah Brace of Lancaster, SC and one son, Tayzon W. Tate of Lugoff, SC; his mother, Evangelist Amanda Tate of Lancaster, SC; his companion, Shemica Lee and two children he reared in his home, Shamahjae Lee and Ayden Lee of Lugoff, SC; two sisters, Karen Tate and Evangelist Wanda K. Crawford (Kenneth) both of Lancaster, SC; one brother, Lamont Tate of Wallace, SC; his grandmother, Edna Johnson of Mt. Vernon, NY. Funeral Service will be noon Friday at Glorious Resurrection of Life Praise and Worship Ministries by Apostle Mamie Lee Wilson and Pastor Monica Ross with burial in Westside Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday, 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Stewart Funeral Home.
