Obituary For Mattie Richardson

Sis Mattie Marie Richardson 88, departed this life Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in Baton Rouge, LA. At an early age she accepted Christ and Unity with Amity Baptist Church of Tunnel Springs, AL. Later as an young lady she moved to Moss Point, MS., where she resided for over 65 years. She provided love and dedication to all her family remembers and friends. She was an exceptional mother and grandmother. Sis Mattie was proceeded in death by her son Richard Angelo Stallworth, 2 sisters: Arzella Bradley and Nora Bell Finklea. 8 brothers: Jeff, Hybert, Allen, Irvin, Robert, Frank, Herman and Joseph Richardson. She leaves to cherish her memories 6 children, 4 daughters: Valerie (Wilton) Stevens of Gautier, MS., Mattie (Ernest) Lindsey of Phoenix, AZ., Beverly Stallworth of Phoenix, AZ., Cherrie Stallworth of Geismar, LA. 2 sons: Raymond Stallworth of Moss Point, MS., Anthony Stallworth of Phoenix, AZ. 10 grandchildren ,10 great-grand children and a host of nieces, nephews,relatives, friends and a very devoted niece Alberta Richardson Burton. A caring and considerate niece Barbara Ann Richardson, nephew Irvin Richardson Jr., and a devoted cousin Adell Davis. Sis Mattie Richardson viewing will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. at New Era Baptist Church 715 HWY 90 Gautier, MS. 39553. Pastor M. Jerome Blanks officiating. Funeral service will being promptly at 1 P.M. Interment will be at First Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
