Barry Wayne Ponder, 60, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 9, 2019. Mr. Ponder was the son of the late Levon Ponder and Janie Ponder and the late Gordon and Mary Jo Boatwright. He was the husband of Patricia Gail Ponder.

He was employed with Arkwright Mills for twenty-one years.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his children, Misty (Jamie) Ponder, Jennifer (Chris) Smith, and Barry (Natasha) Ponder, Jr.; his grandchildren, Amber Coxey, Jake Wyatt, Jason Wyatt, Rhen Smith, Grady Ponder and Brooks Ponder; and his siblings, Vonnie (Fred) Richards, Vickie Horton, Bobby Ponder, Mark (Jennifer) Ponder, Kelly (Scott) Davis, Ricky (Ashley) Ponder.

He was predeceased by his brother, Terry Ponder.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Point Baptist Church, 1390 Rainbow Lake Rd., Inman, SC. Rev. Dr. David Lancaster and Scott Davis will officiate.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.
