Funeral Services for Fitzgerald D. Woods, 49, of Mound Bayou, MS will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Lampton Street Church of Christ, Mound Bayou, MS with burial following in Delta Heights Memorial Gardens, Cleveland under the direction of Johnson and Scott Mortuary, Cleveland, MS. He died October 9, 2019 at Bolivar Medical Center, Cleveland.

God needed to call his angel, Fitzgerald D. Herman Woods, home on Wednesday Morning, October 9, 2019 to celebrate his birthday in heaven. Fitzgerald was proceeded in death by his brother Patrick Bennett Herman, Grandfather and Grandmother Leroy and Melinda Herman, Grandfather, Sandy Woods, Sr., Aunts Patricia Herman-Grady, Rhoda DuBose, and Addie Woods and Uncle Arthur Woods, Sr. Fitzgerald leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving wife, Samantha Woods of Mound Bayou, MS, three children: LeBroderick Woods of Ridgeland, MS, Alexis Woods of Shelby, MS, and Tanielle Woods of Mound Bayou, MS. Visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 from 2-4 with family hour from 5-7 at Lampton Street Church of Christ.

The remains will lie in state Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 11:30am until time of the service at the church.
