I have known Mrs. Smith since I was five years old. When I was a student at NCCU, I visited her home and church often during the weekends. One of her favorite songs was "Because He Lives." Yvette and I worked together for several years as educators. She was a dedicated coworker and friend. We called each other partners. The students knew when Mrs Smith said no, so did Ms. Jones. We laughed, cried and celebrated many things together. Heart felt condolences, Ms. Gail E. Jones
