Josephine L Johnson, 68 of Memphis, Tennessee died on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, September 18, 1951 in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hill and the late Willie Jones Hill.

She was the wife of Sammie Johnson. Surviving are son, Damon L Johnson, daughter, Samantha L Johnson, brother, Robert Hopson, sister, Leslie McFowland. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 2944 Walnut Grove. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at Breath of Life Christian Center located at 3795 Frayser Raleigh Road.

Interment will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Memphis, TN.
