Obituary For Edward Henry "Dink" Baines

Edward Henry ”Dink” Baines passed away October 15, 2019 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee. He was born in Davidson County, Tennessee, to the parents of the late Elijah Henry Baines and Lovie Mai Dickerson.

Those left behind to cherish his many memories are his wife, Hattie Baines; children, Edwanda and Edward (Quennie); grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister, Dianne B. Johnson; brother, Sylvester E. (Marilyn) Baines; sisters-in-law, Bonita Baines, Nicole Baines, Louise (Pastor Robert) Williams, Jr. and Grace (Mayes) Waters, Jr.; brother-in-law, Calvin McCullough; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Mr. Baines will lie in state from 10 until 6 on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Waters Funeral Home, with family present from 6 until 8.

Funeral service Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 12 Noon at Limestone Baptist Church, 1613 West Main Street Franklin, TN. Pastor Wayne McCullough, officiating and Pastor Corey Howse, eulogist.

Entombment, Williamson Memorial Gardens.

Aunt Hattie, my heart aches and my prayers continue to be with you, and all the family and friends who grieve. May God give you peace. I am eternally grateful to and will always love you and Uncle Dink; consistently you two shared wisdom & life lessons, reminded us family is forever and never too far plus created precious memories for me starting 31 years ago when your niece & I became best friends at our beloved TSU ... and I was immediately adopted as family too on my first trip to Franklin.
