Mr. Barry W. Walker

Augusta, GA—Mr. Barry W. Walker entered into rest Thursday, October 17, 2019.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from Williams Memorial C.M.E. Church, 1630 Fifteenth Street, Reverend Dr. Dwayne M. Crew, pastor. Interment will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the hour of service.

Family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Those left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife, Gloria Williams-Walker of Augusta, Georgia; daughter, Kalynn Walker (William, Jr.) Shepherd of Atlanta, Georgia; son, Christopher (Elizabeth) Walker of Augusta, Georgia; grandchildren, William Shepherd, III and Karrington Shepherd, both of Atlanta, Georgia and Malachi Vazquez Walker of Augusta, Georgia; brothers, Dr. Michael Walker of Silver Springs, Maryland, Clinton (Dwala) Walker of Augusta, Georgia and Charles (Annie Ruth) Walker of Jackson, Tennessee; mother-in-law, Maggie Nicholson of Augusta, Georgia; spouse's family: Geneva Williams of Aiken, South Carolina, Earnest Williams, Jr. of Edgefield, South Carolina, Deloris Childs of Augusta, Georgia, Velma Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina, Berlinda Williams Morrison of Monroe, North Carolina and Darrin (Tracey) Williams of Aiken, South Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
