Jacqueline Simmons McGill was born, February 23, 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida and departed this life on October 11, 2019. She lived in Jacksonville her entire life and was educated in the local public schools.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin McGill, Sr.; her parents, Robert and Theo Simmons, Sr.; sister, Gayle Bailey and brothers, Nathaniel, Jr., Bernard and Calvin., Sr. Willis.

Survivors include: sons, Robert Miller, Tony, Elliot and Andre Simmons (GiGi), Alvin, Jr. (Thelma) and Calvin, Sr. (Sandra) McGill; daughters, Kimberly and Keesha Simmons; grandchildren, Alkeesha, Tamika and Keisha Simmons, Alvin McGill, III., Kearra Jones and Kayden; siblings, Robert Simmons, Sr., Michael Willis (Annette), Barbara Wrice (LV); nieces and nephews, Robin Clark, Rodney Callahan, Robert Simmons, Jr., Kendra and Veronica Simmons, Avery Anderson, Vicki Jackson, Minnie Strokav, Sherri, Bernica, Lenard, Calvin, Jr., Derrick and Latasha Willis, Kortney and Jamar Wrice and Brandon Bailey; many other relatives and sorrowing friends.

A memorial service will be held, Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00am in the chapel of James Graham Mortuary, Inc.
