OPELOUSAS- Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Ms. Keisa A. Pitre a/k/a “Ms. Nahthatsit”, 42, who entered eternal rest on Friday, October 18, 2019 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Greater Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Clarence Lazard will be officiating the funeral services. Ms. Pitre leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Starr Justice Fontenot of Opelousas, LA; three brothers, Kevin Pitre, Lydell (Latisha) Rubin and Michael Reed, all of Opelousas, LA; five sisters, Carla Pitre of Opelousas, LA, Eunice (Johnathan) Dominque of Lafayette, LA, Shelia (Joshua) Guillory, Sheena Pitre and Butiska Anderson, all of Opelousas, LA; a special cousin, Ronald (Florence) Milburn of Opelousas, LA; Godfather, Leroy Dunbar, Jr. of Opelousas; Godmother, Jennifer Dunbar of Opelousas, LA; two Goddaughters, Darreneisha Dunbar and Mykaylan Pitre, both of Opelousas, LA; nine uncles, Clarence Pete of Dallas, TX, Horace (Rose) Anderson of Texas, Leroy Dunbar, Sr., Wilton (Ruby) Anderson, Clayton Anderson, all of Opelousas, LA, Alfred Ranton of Plaisance, LA, Jerome Garrick of Lake Charles, LA, Milton Ranton and Calvin Ranton, both of Kenner, LA; five aunts, Marjorie Goodwill, Louberta Hall, Sandra James Thompson and Mary Ann Carron, all of Opelousas, LA and Rose Marie Ranton of Kenner, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Emma Marie Pitre and her father, Irvin Joseph Anderson; one brother, Irvin Fitzgerald Pitre; maternal grandmother, Della Johnson Pete; maternal grandfather, Morris Ranton Minus; paternal grandmother, Eunice Anderson; her nephew, Jonqualon Pitre; uncles, John Hall, Jasper Young, Mervin Anderson, Oreal Anderson, Minus Anderson, Jr. and Walter Pete; and aunts, Georgia Allen, Stella Dunbar, Alma Pete, Margaret Pete and Gladys Young .
