Obituary For Pamela Edwards Boggs

Mrs. Pamela Boggs of 217 Mulberry Alley, Ashburn, Georgia departed this life on Friday, October 25, 2019 at her residence. At the request of the family, the remains will be cremated. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Pamela Boggs will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. from the Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia with the Reverend Carlos C. Davis, Presiding.

Mrs. Pamela Edwards Boggs was born on June 19, 1962 in Ashburn, Georgia to the late Mr. Willie B. Edwards and the late Ms. James Anna Mack.

“Pam”, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was married to the late Mr. Levon Boggs.

Pam started working at an early age, and retired from Home Depot in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of New Mount Olive Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia. She was a woman who walked by faith and not by sight. In her pastime, Pam loved studying scriptures, listening to music, and enjoying good times with her family.

Mrs. Pamela Edwards Boggs, a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and dear friend to all, was called Home to rest on October 25, 2019 at her home in Ashburn, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Willie B. Edwards, Ms. James Anna Mack, Ms. Helen Edwards, her husband, Levon Boggs, two sisters, Betty Jean Smith, Dora Mae Martin, and a brother, Randy Edwards.

She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Alisha Layvette Edwards; two sons, Demario Donnell Edwards, Frankie Lee; two grandchildren, Sabrina Edwards, Jess’ Marie Edwards; sisters, Barbara Ann Smith, Joanne (James) Wigfall, both of Tampa, Florida, Ethel Baker, Linda Gaskins, Monica Edwards, all of Ashburn, Georgia, Patricia (Jerry) Copeland of Tifton, Georgia; brothers, Eddie Mack, Antonio Gaskins, both of Albany, Georgia, Charles Edwards of Ashburn, Georgia, Willie (Marva) Edwards of Valdosta, Georgia, David Edwards of Washington State, Ricky (Angela) Edwards, Larry (Tameka) Edwards, both of Tampa, Florida, Melvin (Lisa) Edwards of Macon, Georgia, Timothy (Angela) Edwards of St. Augustine, Florida, Kenneth (Yolanda) Edwards of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Steve (Debra) Edwards of Ft. Hood, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
